The Chipotle-Honey Chicken from the Cravings cookbook is a recipe that I will keep in the arsenal. I have had the cookbook for a while now but finally got the urge to make something, the Chipotle-Honey Chicken. I asked hubby to flip through it and pick out something he would like to try and that is what we agreed on. I am so happy we did because I will be making it often.
It was delicious because of the spicy and sweet flavor of the sauce and is baked to a nice crisp which gave the edges a crunch. The best part is the simplicity of the recipe. The hardest part was combining the ingredients for the sauce and that was my fault. I had to transfer everything to my Nutribullet because my food processor was not large enough. So learn from my mistake and make sure your food processor can hold up to 3 cups or use a large enough blender. Once you’ve blended the sauce you add it to the seasoned chicken. I seasoned it using salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let the chicken marinate 2 – 24 hours then bake it. Simple, yet delicious.
I highly recommend purchasing the cookbook. Chrissy Teigen’s personality shines all throughout it with the witty banter that we all love from her. I also made the Roasted Jalapeño and Chorizo Queso. This dish will surely be a hit at any party which is perfect for the holidays vastly approaching.
